Todays visit consisted of taking the rest of my staples out. I had a total of thirty-two staples and the day I got out of the hospital they took out twenty-two. Unfortunately, since I went to the ER yesterday, Dr. Salama didn’t think it was safe to remove the rest of the staples just yet. So next week Monday will be the big removal day.
I also had another appointment and that was for a PET scan with Evergreen Radia. This was a three hour process and I had to drink some kind of milkshake although it tasted nothing like it. After the PET scan and another CT scan, I just wanted to go home and sleep.
