I’m not talking about me…I’m talking about my PICC line.
Annie from Walgreens came by the house to do a demonstration of flushing out the line once a day.
A big thank you to Patti for taking on the task flushing out the line. Also the dressing has to be changed out once a week by a nurse.
I don’t mind having the PICC line, but it is a pain in the ass to maintain. Especially when I take a shower; I have to cover my whole upper arm with saran wrap. Also I wear a sleeve over it so the IV line doesn’t dangle around. The fact that it’s summertime, it’s a bit of a challenge to hide the PICC line, so I just learned to embrace it and just be happy.
