Avery is an train fanatic and when I came across the Mt. Rainier Railroad & Logging Museum’s Great Pumpkin Patch Express, I knew that this was the Fall activity of the century!!!
I purchased the First Class ticket so that we can all be a bit more comfortable. We boarded the mid-century 1940s Olympian Hiawatha coaches from the Milwaukee Road.
During the whole 30 min. train ride, Avery sat in his window seat and admired the scenery while eating cheese and crackers!
As the train pulls into the Logging Museum station in Mineral, we found Snoopy and Charlie Brown waiting for us! The whole venue was amazing, Avery got a treat bag full of PEANUTS goodies, they had face painting and crafting stations, trick-o-treat street, Linus’s pumpkin patch & hay rides! Best part of it all, was the sun shining on us making it the perfect pumpkin patch day!
