Today is my first day of treatment.
After checking in at the front desk, I was given a pager that prompts me to head to the fitting rooms to change into the hospital gown. I then proceed into my assigned machine, which by the way is the only machine I’m allowed to use. The nurses prep me up and make sure everything is on point. Once I’m all set up, they leave and I’m all alone with either Bruno Mars, The Cranberries, or Maroon 5 playing on Pandora. I close my eyes and lie still for about 15-20 mins while the machine does its magic-I don’t feel a thing. Before I know it, it’s all over! I get dressed and enjoy the rest of my day!
