This recovery was a bit of a challenge. First challenging thing was to get off those damn pain meds!! I learned the hard way- pain meds lead to nausea meds which lead to constipation meds. Before getting discharged from the hospital, I was again assigned my “handicams” pass but just for a few months! My sis leaves today to head back to her family in New Mexico. I’m so grateful that I was able to have a personal nurse, chauffeur, cook, and maid by side during this whole recovery period. I also had my 3-week post-surgery appointment with Dr. Pillarisetty and so far everything checks out good!!!


My last day of radiation treatment happens to fall on Guam's Liberation Day!!!! You can't see me, but I'm totally doing a *happy dance*!
