I arrived in Albuquerque (New Mexico) Christmas Eve at around 6pm and surprisingly the airport was not as hectic as I thought it would be. While I was waiting for my mom & sister to pick me up at the airport, I saw a couple people dressed up as jolly old St. Nick. It definitely made me feel happy & excited to be spending Christmas with family this year.
We started off Christmas Day attending the 10 am mass at Holy Ghost Church. The day was gorgeous, the sun was out and it wasn’t too chilly. We then came home and started opening gifts!
The Salas family always host a Christmas gathering with dear friends. We had sooooo much delicious food that I went back for seconds and then again for a third helping. It was the perfect Christmas Day!
