Upon hearing of your passing; my heart dipped, my mood darkened, and I just wanted to be by your side and cry. But instead, I collected my emotions, took the rest of the day off, went home and looked through old photos and reminisced about the good ‘ol days.
You were one of my best friends in middle school and although we went our separate ways, we still managed to say hello from time to time.
The last time we were together was in 2011 during our 10 year reunion in Las Vegas. We partied the night away at the rooftop of Palms Casino. I can’t forget how fabulous you looked! I’m just glad we had a chance to meet and play catch up…it was great!
I’m surely going to miss your smiling, beautiful face and your warm heart. Just know I’ll always keep our memories tucked away in a special place in my heart. I hate goodbyes so this isn’t goodbye, but until we meet again my friend! Hope you’re enjoying yourself in paradise!
