The Finders Keepers event in Lincoln City has been on my bucket list for some time. Hand-crafted glass floats are placed along the 7 ½ miles of public beach in Lincoln City – you find it, you keep it! This past weekend was the last day of the “fairy” drop which is the main reason for our trip to Oregon. We arrived at Lincoln City beach around noon and quickly started our search for these glass balls. After about an hour and a half of digging and leafing through the coast, we were unable to locate any glass balls.
Not wanting to leave empty handed, we made a quick stop to a nearby gift shop and purchased a glass ball!
The Portland Saturday Market was a perfect way to end our trip and to get a taste of the unique blend of Portland strange. The market begins at the side of the Columbia River and makes its way up the street; it features a mix of small shop vendors, street side musicians, and food!
