Having spent the last 12 years of my life in Washington, I have become a great tour guide. I know all the hidden gems of the Emerald City and I’m always up for showing friends and family a great time. First up is Ballard Locks which was built in 1911. It provides a link for [...]

CANADA EH?
Today was a loooong road trip. We ventured our way over to Canada, since it’s supposedly “The Best Place on Earth”. The family was excited because this was their first time there. Since we only planned a day trip, I tried to get as much sightseeing in as I can. We started off a Granville [...]
FOLLOW-UP
Today was my 2 week post-op check. Doc says I’m healing really well and that I can finally remove all the steri strips which was a real relief because it was causing me to itch real bad. The latest pathology report did conclude that the type of cancer I had was indeed Leiomyosarcoma and that [...]
ALMOST COMPLETE
Yay, my dad came in this morning and I can’t be any happier! My recovery is going well. I realized a couple days ago that my body is having an allergic reaction to my pain medication so I had to lower my dosage a notch.

Best part of today was that my dear brother Carlo, awesome sister-in-law Darlene, and beautiful niece [...]

This week has been nothing but sun, sun, and more sun. So after church at St. Matthews in Northgate, we went for a little shopping at University Village. A great outdoor mall that allows dogs in mostly all the stores. I think I did too much walking and not enough resting that I got pretty [...]
MY AWESOME SUPPORT SYSTEM
I have the most amazing and supportive family and friends anyone can ask for. My mom, whose been an emotional wreck since she arrived, has been nothing but supportive. It's hard to convince her that everything's going to be okay, but she can't help but be a mother! My sister Diane who flew up from [...]
MOM’S IN TOWN
My mom finally arrived from her vacation in the Philippines last night. She was a bit hysterical as she walked into the room. She kept crying and asking how I was doing, I told her that I was fine and that she needs to just calm down for a bit. I don’t know how long [...]
