I’m a city girl through and through, but ever since my first camping trip about six years ago – I can’t get enough of packing up the tent, hitting the road and heading off to a beautiful destination. For this trip, we ended up going to Lost Lake in Cle Elum which is about a 2 hour drive from Seattle.
Since I’ve been sick the past 2 years, I wasn’t able to go on fun camping adventures. But now that I’m all well – I was beyond excited to get back into nature mode!
Of course, it’s a given that camping is the most inexpensive vacation possible…but here are a few of the many reasons why camping is awesome!
Reason #1: Getting to choose a beautiful corner of the world and calling it HOME!
Reason #2: “Wasting time” isn’t considered a waste of time while camping. It’s what we’re SUPPOSED to do.
Reason #3: Campfires! Who doesn’t LOVE S’mores!
Reason #4: Nature is beautiful and smells good! Seeing lakes and mountains for yourself is exponentially better than seeing a picture. Not comparable!
Reason #5: Sunsets and Sunrise. Although, I wasn’t able to catch an amazing sunrise I did manage to enjoy a beautiful sunset!
Reason #6: Food tastes so much better in the outdoors!
Reason #7: Best part of all is spending quality time with friends and family!
